Malcolm
Jones MA
Malcolm
Jones has worked in theatre and education for 30 years and currently
works for Age Exchange Theatre Trust in Blackheath, devising and
directing theatre and arts projects. He was Events Manager at the
Theatre Museum in Covent Garden for 10 years and has taught at drama
schools including RADA, Rose Bruford, Mountview
and E15. Malcolm has contributed as a speaker on theatre for television
including LWT’s Sin City, Carlton TV’s Secret London
and Channel Four’s The Big Breakfast as well as appearances
on news and current affairs programmes. He works for Ambassador
Theatre Group organising West End workshops and regularly gives
presentations for Giles Ramsay Ltd, US Arts and Music groups. He
has also lectured for US Colleges in London and in America.
Barbara
Kirby
For several years Barbara was the producer of the Edinburgh Festival
“Pick of the Fringe” shows, which showcase theatre,
music and comedy acts in a different live show every day. As an
actress she appeared as Violet Bradman at the Savoy Theatre in a
six-month run of BLITHE SPIRIT for the Peter Hall Company. Other
recent work includes playing Susan in Alan Ayckbourn’s WOMAN
IN MIND at the Bolton Octagon Theatre, for which she received a
nomination for Best Actress for the Manchester Evening News Awards.
She has played five other aggrieved Ayckbourn wives, including a
tour of THE NORMAN CONQUESTS in which she met Colin Wakefield. She
has appeared in numerous repertory seasons, the most recent being
last year at the York Theatre Royal, where she played Mrs Pearce
in PYGMALION. Many televison appearances include EASTENDERS, the
last series of THE LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN, the final episode of INSPECTOR
MORSE, several episodes of THE BILL and, this year, THE WORST JOURNEY
IN THE WORLD for BBC and KINGDOM.
Catherine
Poltera
Catherine
has experience of performing in plays from Shakespeare to pantomime.
Her roles have included Gwendolen in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST,
Constanze in AMADEUS, Annie in THE REAL THING, Nell Gwynn in PLAYHOUSE
CREATURES, Hetty Oaks in WE HAPPY FEW, Corrie Bratter in BAREFOOT
IN THE PARK and Ruby Birtle in WHEN WE ARE MARRIED.
Simon
Geal
Simon started at The National Youth and then trained as an actor
at The Drama Centre London. He has appeared in numerous productions
in Repertory Theatre, The London Fringe, The London International
Film School and The Royal
National Theatre. As a director and tutor he has worked on many
different productions for Arts Depot, Lamda, Shape in London, The
Theatre Museum, The Actors Centre, The British Film Institute, Testbed
Productions for the BBC, The Royal Festival Hall and Age Exchange
Theatre Trust.
